Why I Joined The Mighty

As a longtime reader of The Mighty and parent of a child with an orthopedic condition, I feel lucky to be involved with this community focused on health and disability issues. As a writer with an MFA in creative nonfiction writing and background in nonprofit communications, I appreciate helping share our members’ powerful stories.
